Mrs. Tara Wiseman

¡Hola Parents!

We are off to amazing start in Spanish.  After a lively celebration of love, friendship and dancing, we moved on to learning our prayers in Spanish in all levels (practice makes perfect) have your student(s) recite them for you. In third grade we are moving into our salutations unit, we will be doing skits in class...feel free to send in dress up clothes!  Fourth grade just completed labeling our classroom and we are moving quickly through our review units.  Fifth grade is currently working on famous hispanic people projects.  Sixth grade is balancing review and a semester-long Spanish speaking country project.  All classes are moving along very nicely!

Mrs. LeBlanc has been nice enough to offer us an opportunity to send letters with her to the Dominican Republic.  The kids are extremely excited about this project.  We hope to have responses in a few weeks!

Reminder that French club for grades 4, 5 & 6 will begin Thursday, March 22nd.  Send in permission slips a.s.a.p.

Sincerely,
Señora (Madame) Wiseman

Please encourage your student to review lessons at least 10 minutes each night (weekends too!).  All students are encouraged to include the pronunciation in their notes so they can practice speaking at home (I write it down for them to copy).  We are practicing taking notes at all grade levels and working on a cumulative notebook that will follow them all 4 years, spelling counts!  Please ask them about their notes and to share with you what they are doing.  If you have not already sent dividers in, please do so asap.

Below you will find links to each grade's curriculum and links for at home support (this is a work in progress, please be patient).  I will update where we are as we move along.
